The institution has been blessed with pragmatic, articulate, hardworking and dynamic Governing Council and Management from inception.  At the moment, the institution has gone through three sub-stantive Rectors namely:, Prof Olu Odeyemi Pioneer Rector, who served for two terms from 1993-2000, he was succeeded by Prof S. Iyi Ojo and presently Engr Michael Ayodeji Esho the first internal candidate to be appointed in the history of the institution.  They all contributed immensely to the growth and development of Academic Excellence and the provision of infrastructure facilities within the limit of the funds available to them.
 
However, the college was catapulted to its present level of Academic Excellence due to the dynamism of the present Chairman Governing Council, Elder Funso Ishola J.P and the Engr M.A.F Esho led management team
